Bhai Bidhi Chand
Courage! thy name is Bidhi Chand . Two brothers, Gurbax Rai and Tara Chand complained to Guru Hargobind that two fine horses - 'Dilbagh' & 'Gulbagh', that they had brought from Kabul as gift to him, had been snatched away by the Nawab of Lahore. The Guru consoled them by saying that Bidhi Chand would be senty to bring them back. Bhai Bidhi Chand tricked his way into the royal fort first as a grass-cutter and thenas an astrologer and with cleverness escaped out with the two horses by jumping over the high wall of the fort. The scene, here portrays the diving of the horse over the wall into the River Ravi.
Bhai Bidhi Chand brings the horses to Guru Hargobind Sahib. Guru Ji was pleased with him and acknowledged his bravery and showered his blessings on him.
